Temperature Control Units

TW-ALT mold temperature controllers cycle hot and cold fluid through mold heating/cooling channels.  Mold surface temperature is held above the material glass-transition temperature during fill and packing and then rapidly cooled to set the surface finish and cool the part.  The result achieves exceptional surface detail and dimensional stability and reduces cycle times for applications including optical lens, CDs, automotive, appliances, electronics and packaging.

  • Casters - (TW-ALT-H4 only) TW-ALT-H4 model is supplied as standard without casters. All other units are supplied with casters. Casters can be added to the TW-ALT-H4 for mobility. 
  • Communications- An optional connection for a 20-mA loop (TTY) is available. A broad range of communicataions options are available including modbus, canbus, profibus and others. Contact your sales rep for specific applications.
