NPE Recommendations – Favorite Nightlife

Last week, we shared our favorite places to eat. This week, we are focusing on the nightlife activities that we look forward to as part of the NPE Orlando experience. We hope that these either give you some good ideas of new things to try, or reinforce your favorites. Even excluding the many things you can do at any of the Disney Parks, Orlando has a ton of ways to spend time (and money) in the evenings. Here’s a few of our favorites:

Downtown Disney / Disney Springs. 1486 Buena Vista Dr, Orlando, FL 32830. (407) 939-6244
Alan Landers
Product Manager
“Just a short drive or Uber ride from the convention center, Disney Springs is a great spot to eat, drink, take in a show, and shop. At Disney Springs (lots of parking available in a new high-tech parking garage – check it out), you can act as much like a kid or an adult as you want. Over 100 shops to visit, 56 great restaurants, and more than a dozen entertainment options, make this a perfect one stop to satisfy anyone young or old. Don’t forget to check out one of my favorite places – the Lego store? A few equipment design brainstorms may or may not have been constructed out of Lego blocks.”

Ice Bar, 8967 International Dr, Orlando, FL 32819. (407) 426-7555
Sam Rajkovich
President – Sales & Marketing

“If you’ve never been, you have to try it. Half dance club, half Eskimo experience, the Ice Bar is truly one of a kind. Try drinking custom cocktails in their special overcoats and gloves while in a sub zero atmosphere, surrounded by an icy setting. Outside of the actual Ice Bar is a night club with dj music, dance floor and bar. Always full of curious tourists (like us) it’s a must-try in Orlando. ”

Top Golf Orlando, 9295 Universal Blvd, 32819. (407) 218-7714
Chad Stover
Marketing Communications
Manager

“If you’ve never experienced a Top Golf location, it’s a place you need to visit at least once. Designed around making you feel like you’re in a club box at a sporting event, and making a golf driving range into a competitive game mixed with a full bar, restaurant, bands, and fire pits, Top Golf is a place perfect for spending an NPE night. Designed for group fun, I recommend you take 6-15 of your most competitive friends.”

House of Blues, 1490 E Buena Vista Dr, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830. (407) 934-2583
Larry Doyle
President

“The thing I like about House of Blues is that in any city, I know what to expect from this night spot. Good music, good drinks, the ability to socialize with a variety of great people. In Orlando, if you happen to be a fan of the 90’s band Sum 41, they’re performing Live at this House of Blues on Monday, May 7th. At this particular House of Blues, you can take advantage of the happy hour specials, and various $15 free-flowing drinks.”

My campsite at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. 510 N Fort Wilderness Trl, Lake Buena Vista, 32830 (407) 824-2900
Bill Hricsina
International Business Manager
“Being able to relax with the family after the show and customer dinners is the best of both worlds for me. I can get back in time to take the ferry or shuttle over to the Magic Kingdom to watch the electric light parade and the fireworks. “
