Don Dobler Promoted to General Manager of Pinconning Location

As you can imagine, our always-busy manufacturing facility and lab in Pinconning, Michigan is really hopping right now. We’re pushing to get the prioritized orders out so that desperately needed tanks, cutters, coilers, and other extrusion equipment can be used to make additional supplies for the current pandemic. Pinconning is the primary manufacturing facility for all Conair downstream extrusion equipment. This equipment is primarily used in the processing of pipe, profile, and tubing.
It couldn’t have been better timing that in February, Conair’s Don Dobler was promoted to the General Manager position for our Pinconning location.
About Don
Don joined Conair in 2018 as Manager of Engineering for our Extrusion products. Don graduated from Central Michigan University and Devos School of Business and gained experience as an engineering manager with Marline, Federal Broach and Machine, and Fabri-Kal Corp prior to coming to Conair.
Now, as General Manager, Don uses his extensive engineering background to lead Operations and Engineering for all downstream extrusion products. In his role as GM, Don oversees all engineering, production, quality, purchasing, logistics, and R&D for the facility. Don brings a wealth of experience and excitement to the role. The promotion was well-deserved, as Don constantly demonstrates his commitment to continuous improvement and customer focus.
