Eliminate secondary cutting processes. Conair’s new M-TPC (Medical Traveling Planetary Cutter) enables in-line cutting of difficult-to-cut product. In this demonstration, we are cutting Polycarbonate pipettes. A couple advantages to the M-TPC include the constant head speed, and the servo-driven knife, which allows for the operator to control the speed of the knife entering the product, as well as the depth of the knife into the product. Planetary cutting with the M-TPC eliminates product fracturing and particulates. Perfect for medical applications, the blade moving around the product at controlled speed, with controlled depth and insertion speed, displaces material without debris and damage to the product. All this happens in line (on line) without requiring a separate secondary process.
