The TrueBlend® TB-T is a gravimetric batch blender manufactured by Conair and designed for precise material blending in plastics processing applications. It is used by small-part molders and processors who require accurate batch blending of resins, regrind, and additives at low throughputs. As part of Conair’s TrueBlend product line, the TB-T combines a compact footprint with consistent blend accuracy and easy integration into injection molding and extrusion operations.

The TrueBlend® TB-T is a compact gravimetric batch blender developed specifically for small-part molders that require precise material dosing at very low throughputs. Manufactured by Conair, the TB-T delivers accurate batch blending of up to four ingredients, with throughput rates ranging from 1 lb/hr to 100 lbs/hr and blend accuracy of ±0.5 percent. Blend accuracy is an astonishing ½ of 1 percent. At less than 24 inches tall, this compact batch blender mounts easily on a machine throat or a press-side cart for use as a central color additive blender.

The TB-T is engineered for both high blending precision and ease of maintenance. It is equipped with a 7-inch LCD touchscreen control that features Conair’s “common control” interface for quick and easy setup. Its microprocessor control can manage multiple loaders and pumps. Like larger Conair blenders, the TB-T relies on “feed forward” dosing, using multiple small dosing cycles to deliver a more precise material mix into the weigh chamber prior to mixing. The control calibrates after every dosing cycle to compensate for variations in dispense method, resin bulk density or particle geometry.

Conair’s Grado Adroit gravimetric batch blender is capable of batch dosing for 2-8 components, in a minimal amount of space.  Designed with the blown film industry in mind, the fully modular construction and self-supporting structure make the Grado simple, yet robust for the most rigorous processes.  The transparent front door allows you to watch the homogeneous mixing of your materials.

Material changes are quick, with drain spouts incorporated into each ingredient feed hopper. Clean-out doors and the round-bottom mixing chamber ensure that complete clean out of the machine is nearly effortless.

TrueBlend High-Temperature Models allow processors running engineering plastics like ABS, Nylon, Polycarbonate and PET to blend these resins after they have been dried.

Until now, processors had to blend the material before drying, but by doing so ran the risk that some ingredients could separate out of the mix during the drying and conveying process.

Like all TrueBlend models, the new high-heat blenders feature a fully enclosed cabinet design assuring no pellet spillage and clean operation. Standard convenience features, such as wide access doors on each component bin, a hinged chassis access door and removable components in the mixing chamber reduce material waste and downtime during clean out.

TrueBlend EXT Extrusion Control Blenders combine precision gravimetric batch blending with extrusion yield monitoring or control to provide the tightest possible output and blend quality control for single layer extrusion lines.

With the extrusion control option, you can control extruder output to 0.5% accuracy and blended batches to 0.025% accuracy. Tie in an encoder and take-off drive control and you can control line speed and product weight-per-length.
