The Most Compact TCU Available, with premium features

Processors requested a reliable, compact, and energy-efficient temperature control unit. The microTemp MTC meets all the requirements. A new design provides a water temperature controller to maintain process temperature with circulating water heated or cooled to a desired setpoint, with new control technology. Even better: the enclosure is smaller! The MTC is 22% shorter than the previous generation microTemp and 42% shorter than a standard TW Series Thermolator. And the footprint is 25% smaller. When space is an issue, the MTC is the solution.

State-of-the-art touch screen control

With common control design, temperature deviation alarms and warnings, recipes, and KPI trending.

Phase detection

Know immediately if your incoming power is phased correctly. Monitor incoming 3-phase electrical power for problems (reverse phase rotation, missing phase, low leg, etc.)

Warm-up auto-relief

The auto-relief feature uses the cooling valve to relieve built-up pressure, eliminating water puddles from a pressure relief valve opening.

KPI trending

Follow the performance of the machine using temperature and flow rate trends. Up to 4 simultaneous trendlines.

And if you’re a new operator, contextual help screens show you how to operate the machine without stressing about making the wrong setting.

It takes some engineering to fit 10 pounds of stuff into a 5 pound box – but Conair has done it. The new MTC is not only 42% smaller than other Conair Thermolators, it’s also 22% shorter than the previous MTC-1 design. At just over 14-inches tall, we believe this may be the smallest TCU available in the industry. This unit will fit in applications where others will not.
